Cookie Policy

How More AI uses cookies and local storage on its website and web app, and how you can control them.

Last updated September 23, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how More AI uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on our website (more-ai.net) and web app (app.more-ai.net). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar browser mechanism that lets a site remember information on your device. The desktop application does not use browser cookies; it stores its settings and data in your operating system's application-data folder instead.

How we use them

We use these technologies for a small number of purposes:

  • Essential — to keep you signed in to the web app (a stored sign-in token) and to remember preferences such as your chosen language and theme. Browser local storage and the marketing website's first-party “moreai-lang” cookie remember a selected language so the home page can open in that language before scripts load. The Service does not work properly without these.
  • Consent preference — the marketing website uses local storage to remember your privacy choice. While analytics is on — by default, or because you kept it on — it also sets a first-party consent cookie so the same-origin download redirect can honour that choice; the cookie carries no analytics identity and is removed when you turn analytics off.
  • Analytics — to understand how the website and web app are used and to detect errors. Our analytics provider (PostHog) sets a cookie shared across more-ai.net and its subdomains, so that a visit to the website and a later session in the web app count as one person rather than two. On both it may record session replays: form text is masked while you type, but messages and responses already rendered in the web app can be visible in a replay. The marketing website may also use privacy-friendly or tag-based analytics to measure traffic.
  • Payments — when you buy a plan or credits, the checkout runs on Paddle's own domain and Paddle sets the cookies it needs to process the payment and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by Paddle's cookie and privacy policies.

Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them — though blocking essential storage may stop the web app from keeping you signed in, and blocking Paddle's may stop a purchase from completing. On the marketing website, analytics starts when a page loads, and a notice says so; turn it off in that notice, or reopen "Privacy choices" in the footer to change your decision at any time. In the desktop and web apps, analytics controls are available in Settings → Privacy.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the current version.
